AUSTIN (KXAN) — A beloved local musician has died following a short battle with cancer. Tim Curry died early Saturday morning in San Antonio, friends told KXAN. Doctors diagnosed Curry with stage four pancreatic cancer in January.



Tim Curry and the Trio, made up of Curry, Will Dunlap, Jorge de Armas and Melvin Wilborn, entertained Austin audiences for years with their soulful, energetic vibe. Curry was also an award-winning actor who performed at the Zach Theater
