Man sentenced for sex trafficking

A Texas man was sentenced Monday to
15 years in federal prison for commercial sex trafficking during the
2013 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Timothy Gravens, 55, of Grapevine,
Texas, also was sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release, ordered
to pay $100 to the Federal Crime Victims Fund, and must forfeit
electronic equipment and $300.

Gravens was one of nine men
arrested and federally indicted after law officers conducted an
undercover sex-trafficking operation during the 2013 rally. He met with a
person Gravens believed to be associated with a 13-year old girl, but
who in fact was an undercover agent. He negotiated the time and place
they would meet, along with the price he would pay to have sex with the
young girl, which was $300.
