The PlanetSolar world tour has started in Monaco on the 27th of September 2010 and has already led the boat to Miami, Cancun (the UN conference on climate change), Colombia and Panama. The boat has already set-up a first World Record. Further planned countries to visit and to set-up events are Galapagos, French Polynesia, Tonga, Australia, the Philippines, Taiwan, China (Hongkong, Shanghai), Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, India (Mumbai), Emirates (Abu Dhabi), Jordania, Israel, Egypt, Greece, Italy and Monaco.
