Team's head expresses optimism for Austin track
The head of a Formula One racing team toured Austin on Wednesday and said it's imperative that the U.S. Grand Prix race planned here be a success.
"To call ourselves a global sport and not have a race in America, it's like a having a sport with a World Series that only appears in one country," joked Adam Parr, chairman of the AT&T Williams team. "It is absolutely essential for this sport to have a race in America and not any race, to have an absolutely fantastic event."
