As of August 3rd, 2026 there are new screwworm requirements for pet dogs traveling to Mexico.
APHIS (The USA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) recently announced that starting August 3rd, 2026 all dogs entering Mexico will require a screwworm certificate.
The examination and certificate must be completed within 5 days before entering Mexico.
