Peter Steele, frontman of Type O Negative, was a well-known cat lover who shared a deep, emotional bond with his pets, often calling them his most trusted companions. His 17-year-old cat, Venus, inspired the song "Bloody Kisses (A Death in the Family)". His final cat, Tito, passed away on the same day as Steele in 2010.
