The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and UTSA have officially merged to form The University of Texas at San Antonio, or UT San Antonio. It's now the state’s third-largest public research university. With more than 40,000 students, $486 million in annual research expenditures and a projected $7 billion economic impact, the new institution is poised to transform education, health and discovery.
