It’s been an incredible summer of classic movies here on Congress Avenue – with four days and eight movies left, we hope you’ll come out for one last Summer Classic Film Series screening of 2025!
We start with our “Indie Pride” double feature with small businesses engaging in the neverending battle against corporate takeover: YOU’VE GOT MAIL (1998) and a 30th anniversary screening of EMPIRE RECORDS (1995).
Friday and Saturday feature our final two films from the “I’MMMM 50!” theme of timeless classics celebrating this landmark anniversary: THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (1975) in 35mm with our friends at Fangoria and GREY GARDENS (1975).
Hyperreal Film Club joins us one more time for CABARET (1972) in 35mm. Plus, we have a few seats left at our Cabaret Dinner & Movie event at Gina’s on Congress. This includes tickets to the film, a four-course dinner and wine pairings. Proceeds benefit the Paramount & State Theatres!
Closing Day on Sunday has our final Family Film Series screening, THE SANDLOT (1993), and Robert Rodriguez presenting both KILL BILL VOL 1 (2003) and KILL BILL VOL 2 (2004) – which is currently sold out and promises to be one hell of a closing night viewing experience!
