June 14, Pope Leo
On June 14th, Pope Leo XIV, the first American pope, will deliver a video message to the world's youth at an event at Rate Field in Chicago. This event, a celebration of his election and a mass, will feature music, film, and testimonials about the new pope. The event, which starts at 2:30 p.m. with gates opening at 12:30 p.m., includes a Catholic Mass at 4 p.m. Pope Leo will also be greeting the crowd at Rate Field.
Those attending the June 14 celebration honoring Pope Leo XIV at Rate Field in Chicago will hear directly from the new pontiff.
The Archdiocese of Chicago announced that recently installed Pope Leo will deliver a “special video message” to the world’s youth at the event at the Chicago White Sox’s home stadium.
