GRASSROOTS FEDERAL WORKERS UNITE

Members of Congress will be in their districts during the two-week recess April 14 – 25

Now is the time to show up and ensure that the voices of federal employee constituents are heard at the district level while legislators are home during the April recess.

Call your members of Congress and ask when they are holding a Town Hall – and if they are not, ask that they do!

And then, make sure you attend! This is an opportunity to remind your members of Congress of the importance of the services that you provide to the American people and ask that they protect their federal employee constituents.

Legislative Grassroots checklist for this week:

  • Sign up to attend a Town Hall or other event in your area during the April recess. Call your members of Congress and ask when they are holding a town hall – and if they are not, ask them to hold one! Click here to find their number.
  • If you attend a Town Hall or other event, please be sure to take photos and share them with NTEU’s PR department here.
  • Send a letter on the NTEU Action Center. Take Action Now, then share the action center with a friend or fellow union member and ask them to use the Action Center to send a letter and join us in this fight.

WE MUST TAKE A STAND – TAKE ACTION NOW!
