Maxxis Supermaxx Diamond tyre test review on a Z1000 | www.visordown.com

Maxxis' MA-3DS Supermaxx Diamond - Sports Touring Radial - Features an eye catching diamond shoulder tread pattern, incorporating brand new micro-pore technology to generate additional heat when combined with Maxxis' new 'Ultra R' tread compound to deliver outstanding levels of dry traction and wet weather grip.

The unique high tension carcass construction incorporates jointless mono spiral Kevlar® belts which increase carcass strength and maintain uniformity under extreme load conditions ensuring increased stability at high speed.

New stiffer sidewalls ensure that the MA-3DS maintains its handling characteristics under typical loads for touring applications without compromising handling or performance. When compared to the Maxxis Supermaxx M6029 Touring tyre:
Traction under normal dry conditions is increased by 15%
Wet grip is increased by 10%
Cornering camber angle is increased by 10 degrees
10% larger footprint at 35 degrees
"As a racer, I look for a lot of feedback from my tyres. And that's what the Supermaxx Diamonds deliver. I found the Maxxis very competent, informative and confidence inspiring. I'm very impressed with their performance. I'd definitely fit them to my road bike."
- Gary Mason, MSS Colchester Kawasaki BSB Rider

"The angled grooves not only increase the tyres surface area, they allow the tread to move around, forcing heat into the rubber to create grip. After a day on the track and a road ride, the Maxxis tyre performed at least as well as Bridgestone BT-023s or Dunlop Roadsmarts yet do so at a saving of around £60"
- John Urry, RiDE Magazine
